The steps listed below are meant only as a guideline
in applying Chip Guard to your automobile. For best results, have a
professional apply your Chip Guard Custom Designs kit to your automobile.

| 1. Thoroughly clean the lamp surface to remove all waxes, oils and grime. After spraying the lamp and under-side of film with Solutions, position over the light. |
2. Spray the outer side of
the 3M film, and then squeegee out all blisters and fingers. Excess
material can be trimmed later.

| 3. Make sure to remove all fingers beyond the existing line on the headlamp. | 4. Trim excess material using an Olfa knife following the existing line on the headlamp. | |||

| 5. Using a heat gun ensures that the film will adhere well to the surface of the lamp. | 6. Absolute adhesion to the surface is critical. Extra attention may be necessary. | |||

| 7. Inspect the surface carefully from up close. Stroking the surface with a clean piece of cotton swab or cloth will help smooth out any creases or minute air bubbles. | 8.Chip Guard headlamp protection is undetectable and protects headlamps from sandblasting and abrasion. | |||
